It is truly a dark time in a child’s life when they are separated from their parents, even under the best of circumstances. Kids Restart tries to shine a little light into the lives of children during this dark time in their lives by providing safe, secure, visitation, which includes structured activities designed to build, strengthen, and maintain child-parent bonds and develop positive parental skills. |

About Us
Kids Restart is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Augusta, Georgia. Our major objective is to assist in stopping the cycle of neglect and abuse against the children of Richmond, Burke and Columbia Counties. Our primary mission is to provide supervised visitation program for children in foster care or shelters. Most of the referrals we receive are from Richmond County Department of Family and Children Services. We have provided supervised visitation for Burke and Columbia counties as well. We are funded in part through Providing Safe and Stable Families, Community Foundation for the CSRA, and the Community Development Block Grant Program. |

Donations Kids Restart receives approximately 70% of our funding through grants for which we compete each year. Our primary sources for this funding includes Providing Safe and Stable Families and Community Development Block Grant. We were also very fortunate to receive a grant from The Community Foundation of the CSRA. The remainder of our funding comes from direct community support through donations and participation or sponsorship in our annual fundraising events. Kids Restart depends on your generosity to keep our doors open! Please donate to Kids Restart today. Fundraising Events Every year Kids Restart organizes several events to raise funds for our programs. Upcoming events for this year include:
Future Events: September 2010—Munching for Kids November 2010 Great Pumpkin Chase 5k Fun Run
Current Event: Kids Restart Inc. is having our 6th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, “Drive for Kids” April 30, 2010 at Gordon Lakes Golf Course, Fort Gordon, Georgia. This tournament is one of our major fundraising events each year. All proceeds from this event are used to support our Visitation Program.
How you can make a difference!
Support Kids Restart by supporting or participating in the tournament. Our goal is to raise $10,000 with this event. This equates to four months of operating costs for our Visitation Program. You can make a difference by sponsoring a tee or event, or donating door prizes for the end of day drawing.
Levels of Sponsorship include:
